Black Box Recorder是倫敦樂隊，1998年首張專輯「England Made Me 」及接下來的兩張專輯「The Facts of Life」(2000)、「Passionoia」(2003)都有幾首很動聽的單曲。成員包括女主唱Sarah Nixey、 The Auteurs的Luke Haines以及The Jesus and Mary Chain前團員John Moore。他們的音樂呼應1998年當時電子流行音樂潮流，有著trip hop和法國電子團體Air的感覺，但骨子裡仍是吉他搖滾，非常好聽，歌詞主題直指愛情的辛酸甜蜜。
